Claire Chesne is a lighting designer and lighting technician from Chicago, IL. She has a love for lighting and every one of its qualities. Finding the magical combination of parameters to shape and find the exact story she is telling with her collaborators is her joy. As she moves forward in her craft, she is dedicated to continue to challenge herself and find new ways of looking at projects and trying new things with her lighting. Claire believes curiosity is at the heart of her work – and it is the driving force that allows her to dive into storytelling and be extremely invested in her collaborator’s point of view. Claire’s favorite part of working in this industry is learning a new thing every five seconds, in her own work and from discussions with collaborators, and that’s what she looks forward to as she embarks on her career.
