In March of 2024, I had the pleasure of working with NAKA Dance Theater on their stop in Ithaca for their ¡Y Basta Ya! tour. The focus of this project was on telling the stories of Latine and Indigenous immigrant women and exploring race and gender violence, and invisibility and their effects on survivors. This project was unique because it brought on members of each community that it visited to become a part of the story, as well as hosting events and workshops for members of the community to participate in.
